Get started with Z-CMS

Z-CMS Admin is where you manage content, media, themes, plugins and site members.

Sign in

On a deployed instance, Admin lives under your site’s own domain at /admin — for example https://your-site.com/admin. In a local development environment it runs on its own port instead: open http://localhost:3101. With the default sample data, sign in with admin@z-cms.org and the password admin123. If two-factor authentication is enabled, enter the current code from your authenticator app after the password.

First steps

1. Review the site name, time zone and language under Settings.
2. Open Content and create your first entry.
3. Upload images in Media.
4. Review menus and the active theme under Appearance.
5. Invite team members and assign the minimum required role.

Tip

Grant Administrator access only to people who need to configure the whole site.
